Braden Walls

Born in 1992 in the heart of Arkansas, Braden Walls is a dynamic artist whose work masterfully blends influences from the Cubist movement with modern techniques. Using a diverse range of media—including oil, acrylic, and graphite—Walls creates captivating, collage-esque artworks that challenge the boundaries of traditional and contemporary art. He discovered his passion for art at Arkansas State University, earning a BFA in Studio Art in 2016. Since then, his work has been featured in numerous private collections as well as group and solo exhibitions.

Artist Statement

As a child, I was very particular about keeping my food separated on my plate and maintaining order; a habit that has evolved into my artistic practice. This need for organization and separation is reflected in my collage-esque work, where each element occupies its own distinct space. My indecisiveness and love for variety are manifested in my use of multiple mediums, allowing me to create pieces that are both orderly and eclectic. Each piece I create is the result of a contemplation of my current inspirations and emotions, resulting in an ever-evolving body of work that is both personal and universally resonant.
