The not-for-profit Powerhouse Arts (PHA) pushes forward on its commitment to creative expression by introducing a new, print-focused fair: the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair (BFAPF) taking place from March 27-30th, 2025.
PHA Printshop Director Luther Davis and the wider PHA team have partnered with Fine Arts Baltimore (FAB) to bring to life a critical new entrant in the New York art fair circuit—one committed to re-affirming New York as a key hub for esteemed print fairs. BFAPF seeks to expand opportunities for print producers and sellers of all types, growing an already-vibrant ecosystem of fine art print production and publishing with new, accessible opportunities to cultivate collectors and grow their market.
The fair welcomes a broad scope of exhibitors to its debut edition: 41 international print-focused art galleries, 28 self-representing artists and book arts makers, and 6 academic print departments.

FAB’s Ann Shafer states, “If there are no opportunities for younger, emerging artists and galleries, then there is no future for the sector. Powerhouse Arts is one of very few organizations that can and is willing to put a fair together with this intentionality. This marks a unique and exciting opportunity to rally the print community around this shared vision.”
The organization, which is home to three print shops including the eponymous Powerhouse Arts Print Shop, the Digital Print Lab, and the MGC Community Print Studio (in addition to a Community Ceramics Studio, Ceramics Shop, Public Art department, and decorative arts non-profit The Alpha Workshops), has served as a critical hub for artists and individuals alike seeking to produce materially ambitious artworks. The introduction of a new print-focused fair — the first of its kind in the borough — offers renewed opportunities for print artists, purveyors, educators, collectors, connoisseurs, and professionals to commune and convene at PHA’s newly revitalized facility.
PHA Printshop Director and fair leader Luther Davis states: “This first annual Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair will showcase some of the most innovative printers in the world while also allowing first-time print enthusiasts access to our in-house fabrication shops and studios."
