Full Circle: Geraldina Khatchikian’s Solo Exhibition at Arte Fiera 2025

"Full Circle" is the latest solo exhibition by Geraldina Khatchikian, presented during Arte Fiera and Art City White Night 2025 at Giulio Veronesi Gioielli in Bologna, Italy. On view until the end of the month, this captivating showcase brings together 20 circular abstract paintings, a new jewelry collection, and her first installation—each exploring themes of transformation, resilience, and the profound beauty of change. Through a dynamic interplay of color, texture, and form, Geraldina invites viewers on a journey of release, self-discovery, and renewal.

Each painting tells a quiet yet powerful narrative, capturing moments of reflection in layered color, movement, and three-dimensional elements. Titles like Shadow Within, Roots of Freedom, and Beyond the Walls evoke the unseen battles and personal breakthroughs that define us, while pieces such as Rise Above, Keep Moving Forward, and A New Day Dawns embody the courage to embrace change. The inclusion of metal wires and aluminum butterflies adds a sculptural dimension to the canvases, symbolizing metamorphosis, fragility, and the subtle yet profound moments that ignite transformation.

Expanding beyond painting, Geraldina presents her first installation, where hand-woven aluminum wires interlace to form an intricate, organic structure. This piece captures the tension between chaos and harmony, illustrating how life’s unpredictable patterns—when viewed from a distance—reveal an innate sense of order. The entwined wires resemble both tangled roots and unfolding flowers, mirroring the delicate balance between struggle and growth.

Jewelry has long been an extension of Geraldina’s artistic expression, and this exhibition marks the debut of two significant new pieces. Show Your Wings, a pair of earrings inspired by the butterfly motif in her paintings, serves as a tribute to the unseen strength within us. Meanwhile, her first necklace, We Belong Together, continues the narrative of last year’s ring, I Belong Here, further exploring themes of connection, belonging, and self-acceptance.

With Full Circle, Geraldina Khatchikian creates a space for reflection—an invitation to pause and embrace both light and shadow while acknowledging the quiet transformations shaping our paths. Whether through the rhythmic movement of The Rhythm of the Soul, the introspection of Finding Myself, or the surrender of Sweet Surrender, each piece tells a story of becoming. Through paint, metal, and motion, this exhibition stands as a testament to the inevitable, fragile, and beautiful nature of change.
