Announcing the Finalists for Of Land & Longing: Celebrating Landscape in Contemporary Art

Presented by Create! Magazine and Visionary Art Collective

Serena Perrone

We are thrilled to announce the selected artists for Of Land & Longing: Celebrating Landscape in Contemporary Art, a global virtual exhibition presented in partnership with Create! Magazine and Visionary Art Collective.

This open call invited artists to explore their connection to nature, place, and the ever-evolving language of contemporary landscape. We received over 500 submissions from around the world, showcasing an extraordinary range of talent, interpretation, and creativity. The process of reviewing this work was both inspiring and incredibly challenging, and we’re grateful to every artist who entrusted us with their art.

Curated by Ekaterina Popova (Create! Magazine) and Victoria J. Fry (Visionary Art Collective), this exhibition will highlight compelling works that reflect the nuanced relationship between humans and the natural world. The digital exhibition and catalog will launch in May 2025, and we look forward to sharing these powerful works with our global audience.
