Giovina Brauer is an artist based in beautiful British Columbia.
About five hours from Vancouver, there's a charming town called Canim Lake, where my art studio is nestled amidst nature and wildlife. One of my daily joys is taking walks with my dog Emma, where we stumble upon magical moments that bring such tranquility. These moments allow me to dive deep into my journey and process, where I celebrate life and death through storytelling, dreams, and collectives. My paintings come alive with a rich palette of oil colors on canvas or linen, creating a visual utopia that invites viewers into a world of fantasy and reality, revealing their hidden realms.
