Tara Aarons

Tara grew up in New York surrounded by creativity and a love for spending the day at the MET. From a young age, her artistic journey began with early recognition and accolades from prestigious institutions, including The New York Times and The Art Directors Guild NY. With a love of learning, she studied at multiple art schools before ultimately receiving her BFA at the School of Visual Arts, honing her skills under industry masters. Further expanding her studies at a renowned stained glass restoration and design studio allowed her to work in a trade that connected her love of history with her designs. She contributed to significant, noted projects, including the restoration of Trinity Church and Tiffany & Co. windows.

Driven by a passion for crafts and a fascination with fantasy and sci-fi, Tara made the leap from New York to Los Angeles, entering the film industry. She applied her creative skills to art direction, set decorating, design, and prop construction, collaborating with top industry professionals. Her love for working with artistic individuals eventually led her to a career as an artist's agent, where she dedicated herself to helping others succeed in Film and Advertising.

Back in her Los Angeles studio, Tara continues to embrace her creative roots. Her oil paintings, inspired by historical craftsmanship, showcase her passion for traditional techniques. She describes her artistic process as a "Hierarchy of Light," using focused lights, intense shadows, and gentle brushwork to create a sense of motion and capture the very essence of her subjects.
